A. Steps to re-index the site:

      1.Go to your Site Setting Page of the Site

2. Go to search à search and Offline Availability.

3. Then Click on button Reindex Site and follow the instauration on the pop-up window.

4. Now you can search item in your site and validate search result outcome.

B. Steps to re-index the library:

         1. Login to your SharePoint Site and Go to particular SharePoint List or document library.
         2. Click on Library or List breadcrumb on top left corner

         3. Then select Library settings or List Settings

         4. Click on Advanced Setting

              5. This step only for Document Library: Click on Reindex Document Library to re-index the contents in this document library.

         6. This step only for List: Click on Reindex List to re-index the contents in this List.

         7. Now you can search item in your List or Library, and validate search result outcome.
